Spring is on the way

Absolutely nothing to do with Spring but Sam had a great time at friend Emma (from pre school's) party yesterday. Here with fellow super hero Ollie:

Golden times

Illness has abounded once more (the grown ups this time) so it's extra special to be on good form and have some precious times together (not least as the return to work looms for Lyn).

At Henry's 4th birthday party

We're free...!

It really does seem as if we've been caged animals for several months. More so I suppose with Will only being able to crawl and not really want to be contained in his pram, so we've just not been out as much. It was bliss therefore to get some sunny days and get to the park and most importantly...mow the lawns and get out in our garden!!

Will is walking (as of the weekend, he can officially cross the length of the room unaided and by choice!). Video to follow...

End of an era (B&B)

It was the very last NCT Bumps n Babies yesterday - something which Lyn has been involved in for 4+ years. We've made some firm friends through it and will still be meeting up regularly...until work gets in the way anyway.

Sick Bay House

Sam had his first pre school friend's party at the weekend..

A party with a difference as it was attended by creatures galore - from owls to snakes....and tree frogs and skunks..

The bug strikes and 4 days of half term are spent on the sofa.. (we all secretly like the snuggles though)



It wasn't all doom and gloom though as by the Friday, Will rallied and we were able to go to Saltburn (where Will thought the sand was most tasty!)

We bumped into good friends the Connors and the Brights so it was even better. Fish and chips on the beach have never tasted so good on a 10 degree Celsius day!
